We are Karin and Miles, wife and husband and parents of two boys. We are local to the North of Melbourne and have lived in the area over twenty years.

We both come from an Architectural background and have a strong understanding of design, building processes and construction.

We believe in ethical contribution to the built environment and our planet.

To us, this means healthy material choices, engagement of local professionals and builders, reduction of construction waste, incorporated landscaping solutions and duty to accommodate management of energy consumption through passive solar design and appropriate technologies.

We make it our business to meet with you, know your circumstances, your perspectives and understand your expectations.

We will work with you to study your local neighbourhood and endeavor to understand what the property market wants in your area.

Karin: With close to 30 years’ experience in architectural practice, Karin has a strong understanding of the building industry and construction processes. Karin has a high attention to detail with a depth of understanding of construction methods, materials, services and processes. She has developed skills and knowledge in construction documentation, contract administration and maintains a high level of communication in her relationships with clients, consultant team and stakeholders.
Miles: Miles has a Master’s degree in Architecture with more than 20 years practice in earth building technologies and teaching. More recently, he has developed experience in AV systems, management of construction projects, prefabrication operations, business management, financial budgeting and feasibility studies. Miles has great interpersonal skills and ability to find the solutions and ideas to best help our clients find the project outcomes they desire.

SITE

We find a property to develop.
Due diligence is carried out to confirm the feasibility stacks up. We may have Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors assist us with research before we can determine that a development is viable.

DESIGN

We engage Architects and Interior Designer to produce concepts and plans aligned with our project brief. Town Planners and Building Surveyors may be consulted if the site has constraints.

FINISHES & INCLUSIONS

We research the local area and pitch for style, finishes and materials to sell well within the local market demands and expectations.

FINANCE & BUILD

We submit our development proposal and supporting materials and apply for development finance.
Private finance investments are also considered.
We tender the project with local builders and project managers. Solvency checks and references are sought before the construction team is engaged.

MARKETING & SALES

High-end architectural artist’s impressions form part of the marketing package.
Our marketing consultants will engage specialists to dress the property to impress.
An experienced sales team with local knowledge will look after our interests and sell on our behalf to maximize financial return.
